I absolutely loved this place. It was my first time there and I already can't wait to go back. The atmosphere is great, the service was exceptional, and the food was amazing. The place is clean and the staff is really friendly and helpful. We had the chicken and dumpling soup, chicken lemon and orzo (soup of the moment), Texas ranger tacos, and the meat gazer earth bowl. Everything was delicious, and I'm looking forward to trying a lot of other things. Their cocktails sounded really fun and they have a great beer selection. I wish I lived closer - I live in the Detroit area - but this is going to be my new staple for when I visit my Dad.
Omg the vegetarian mushroom sandwich is to die for. I don’t even like mushrooms that much but these ones taste so good and are thin sliced. I added avocado. It was AMAZING! My bf liked his burger as well. Good cocktails too. All around a great place to eat. Will be returning.
Nice place. Alan was a fantastic server, friendly, timed everything quite nicely. I had deep roots burger & fries. Really good burger. I am not a FF person but truly enjoyed these. My fellow diner had the classic burger which he said was a "darn good burger". 2 preferences: coke products but their Pepsi. Their pickles are sweet & spicy. A nice option but I am a fan of a good dill on a burger.
Very cute place for drinks and good food. I love the atmosphere of the restaurant. It is well decorated and very clean. There is plenty of seating available, and they have a patio. They have unique drinks and food selections. There is something for everyone. The service was great in the beginning, but once we received our dinner, she never came back. We had to call her over for the check and some boxes. Overall, I would definitely recommend going here. The food was fantastic.
We have been here so many times. It’s kind of our go to. Or at least on the list of suggestions each time we are thinking of going out. I love their strawberry margarita and I have tried several different food items and have never been disappointed. As for an appetizer out go to is Bang Bang Shrimp. Great flavor and crunch. We love the atmosphere here. The wood paneling . It’s all very comfy . Glad it’s near by.
Our first visit to Square Roots was very good. The vibe is relaxed and updated casual. The burger I had was ok, but the real star was the Oktoberfest special with 3 different sausages and honestly the best home made. The dipping cheese sauce was very good too. The service was on point and our waitress was excellent I highly recommend Square Roots in downtown Crown Point, Indiana
The 2nd to Naan sandwich is exactly that! I looooveee this sandwich! You can’t go wrong with a night here and ANY of the drinks on the menu. 💕 Love the bartender Ashley, she’s a gem! 💎
This restaurant is conveniently located on the main square in downtown. We found street parking quickly right near their entrance, parking was free. We were immediately greeted upon entry and seated. The decor is modern rustic, nicely done. The dining room and washroom were spotless clean. Our waiter was prompt, courteous, and had perfect timing. I ordered the Hall of Famer barbecue sandwich, it was fantastic. Everyone enjoyed their meals completely. Their list of beers on tap is very comprehensive. Without question we will be returning when we are in the area.
What a wonderful find!! The BIGGEST Bloody Mary with ALL the garnishments 🫒🍅🧀🍹✨ - A huge selection of draft beer and fun cocktails - HUGE portions for cheap and SO yum!! A great addition to The Crown Point Square 🍺✨!!
